Is it just me or is this really soothing, lulling? It brings to me a false sence of security... Does this happen to anyone else, caus lets face it. Even though this was the most played song in history, doesnt it bother you, its too soothing and its not even that great a song.
Did satan help them write this? Is this why it feels good to listen to it? Man its fucking freking me out
What do you guys think?
Edit: Holy shit on futher study of this ive come up that this is not a song about worshiping satan BUT rebeling against him.. See the First bit. "Oh heres to my sweet Satan" Sweet as in tempting... luring, There mocking him saying his sweet, but sour. Now the next bit "The one whos little path would make me sad, whose power is satan" Now Back to the Original song "There are 2 paths you can go down BUT in the long run its not to late to change the road your on" Perhaps they realised they were following the wrong path and were trying to change from it and it was satans power that dragged them down there in the first place. Now "He'll give those with him 666" Wasnt 666 Nero? Wasnt Nero represented as cruelty? So he'll give you cruelty and sufferring. It sounds like their trying to warn us! Finally "There was a little toolshed where he made us suffer, sad satan" and the original Txt "If theres a bustle in your hedgerow, dont be alarmed now, its just a spring clean for the may queen"
Toolshed is where you keep gardening tools (Bustle in your hedgerow, Satan), Spring cleaning a toolshed (May Queen Representing god Purging Evil). The desent of satan from heaven could be that toolshed, Hell. Satan being sad... Maybe because he was exiled from heaven, reciding in hell (Which is represented as a Toolshed.)
I dont know but thats the best awsner i got for now
