Unforunatly the hardest thing I found in gutiar playing was changing chords. Everytime I did it fast, I Did it wrong. And Everytime I did it slow, It Sounded wrong. So im going to attempt to teach you: How to change chords How to make the chords sound right And how to do it speedily. Ok, When you shape your fingers into the chord make sure you use the RIGHT finger for the RIGHT fret. Otherwise its like playing twister on your guitar . Next thing you should do is make sure your fingers are pressed down [glow=red,2,300]HARD[/glow]. It is essentail that they are placed down hard. If not youll get a dull, shitty sound coming from your guitar. Sure, It hurts the first time, but as you play on you wont feel it. I Guarentee. Anywho... To change chords speedily you must first practice slowly. Make sure you change the chord properly, Otherwise youll learn how to change the chord wrongly. Every now and then make sure you give yourself a bit of a challenge. Good practice Chords are: G & DPractice changing between them, Also practice your strumming skills. First do down strokes, then Up, Down strokes. More on that in the Strumming Section. So remember, Press hard, Change correctly, Practice, Practice, Practice
